Well, from what I can understand, there is a chance that you understand French as well (as you call a half note "white" and a quarter note "black", which are the French denominations)... French can be used on this forum without any fear
In addition to what has been suggested by Tony, I can advise you to use the specific tutorials (Help>Tutorials>Editing Staves "Merged staves" + "Some tips for multi-voice staves") (Menu Aide>Didacticiels>Edition : les Portées "Présentation des portées fusionnées" + "Astuces pour l'édition des portées multi-voix").
I attach a very simple file with an example of merged staves (multi-voice staff) with some note that may match what you are looking for.

I've found the old script I mentioned in my previous post.
Here it is (simply open the .msa achive with HA). It is supposed to be placed in Scripts>Notation>Lyrics and called "notes as lyrics".
If you run the script with French as the application language, you'll get the Latin names (Do, Ré, Mi...) otherwise you'll get the AngloSaxon names (C,D,E...)
Note : sometimes HA uses enharmonics and it may be a trouble when reading the notes names (e.g. a D# may be called Eb. The score shows a note as a D but the script will call it E) So, it may be useful to run another script beforehand : Scripts>Notation>Notes>Enharmonics Editor.

I  did not understand this; a shift-click on a note on the score turns it grey (for no comprehensible purpose  )
A shift-double-click reverses the note-head!

On my PC, a shift+click selects the note (its color turns to light green) just like a right click.
A shift+double-click adds a reversed note-head. Quote:

I wonder if the script can be modified to  >Colorise according to TAB?

There must be some values somewhere indicating which string is used. I need to search the manual...
[Edit]It looks as if the symbol value called "Symbol.TabLine" could be used to determine if a note is to be colored or not, provided we find a way of matching the note on the original staff (with tablature) and its copy (for the double string), probably the TimePosition. I'll try to have a go at a simple script as soon as I have a little time available.[/Edit]

Application.UpdateScores()  -- inopérant
Pupitre=maPartition.FirstStaff
Pupitre.TitleAlignment = -1 -- rafraichit l'affichage. Pourquoi ?

There are also a couple of wonky pronunciations in British English as well, I suppose I ought to report them sometime.  The ones I keep running into are Bethlehem and Saviour.  I now have a file of words and their SAMPA pronunciations to insert in scores.

In both cases, use the "Clef tools palette" (Windows menu) and use the 3rd tool (4 4 icon). Then, you can assign the actual time (e.g. 7/4) and the displayed time (e.g. 3/4 + 1/ Simply make sure that the actual time matches the notes you want to place in the measure.
Note : a time change occurs only at the beginning of a bar. So, if you place it in the middle of an existing bar, the bar will be split.
