Hi, I just installed version 9.8.0 and now I have problems with the "repetitions", have gone mad. I can not fix it and I have not changed any configuration of breaks.

Obviously, there is something somewhere telling HA to repeat the 4 bars for a wrong number of times... The problem is that without the file, it's very difficult to find the "something" and the "somewhere".
First, I suggest you check the box called "imponer lista" at the bottom of the widow. Then, you erase all the content of the input box (1-4,1-4, etc.) and type the bars you really want to be played : 1-4,1-3,5-20 (or whatever number of bars) That should force HA to play what is printed.

I have occasionally seen this happening in earlier versions; it is not a problem that has been introduced in this version of HA.
This is not, strictly speaking, a bug. The programming of how the break symbols are to be interpreted is very complex, and the symbols can interact in unforseen and counter-intuitive ways. You might want to check all your repeat signs and any Fine and D.C. al fine signs that you have in the score.
Failing that, go into the Edit Breaks dialogue box and delete each break symbol one by one until the imposition list looks reasonable again. Then click Cancel and go back into the dialogue. Then you can look at the break symbol in question and investigate its settings.

Le masquage des lignes fonctionne maintenant parfaitement.
Mais.... Le masquage intervient obligatoirement pour toutes les vues de la partition.
Serait-il possible de pouvoir masquer des lignes sur une vue, qui ne soient pas masquées dans une autre vue ?

Très bonne idée.
Je demanderai aussi, s'il serait possible de pouvoir fusionner ou défusionner les portées sur une vue et non pas sur une autre.
Mais j'imagine que vôtre idée, Lagaffe, est beaucoup plus facile à programmer que la mienne.

La verdad es que ahora los instrumentos suenan prodigiosamente.La sonoridad y la expresión se acercan cada vez más a las de una verdadera orquesta.Mis humildes felicitaciones a los Hnos. Guillion.Gracias por su creación.

With Version 7.8. nothing works anymore for me: There's always a notification window with an empty OK Button appearing. It wants me to confirm some action that is not written.
Inside the program I cannot use (or even find) the instruments for the score anymore. I want my old 7.7.0 Version back, please. How can I get it back?
Okay, a real improvement for me is the frame-lessness of the lyric lines. I always had to deactivate the frame by accessing the lyric cell a second time...
But anyway: I would really like to get back my previous version, until the bugs I mentioned are okay again. I'm on a Mac...

Sorry you're having trouble. You might take a look at your Configuration > Global setup > Paths screen to see where the program is looking for your instruments. It may be mis-set, somehow.
If you can't fix the problem that way, then if you still have the download file for 9.7.whatever, you can run it the way you normally do for an upgrade, and it will overwrite the new version.
P.S.--Note that the attachment shows I have GoldBase installed. If you don't, the standard instruments are in a different directory. Just look around and you'll find them.

I tried to reconnect the path in global settings as you said - but no change.
In in MA 7.8. my instruments are still gone: no more pianos, strings, orchestra etc.
(And of course still that annoying empty warning window that wants some confirmation for whatever...).
But after having tried all you mentioned, I finally found a way to get back to a previous version of Melody Assistant. And this way I got back all my instruments and everything works fine again.
So right now I am very happy to have back my MA 7.7.1
