I make pianistic transcriptions with software but a problem of representation of the duration of chords in the left hand occurs:
In the left hand in a measure to 4/4, I can write with the score editor: black + black + white: it goes but on this editor, I can not make the first black 2 time last while above on the same range the 2nd black and the white (in 3rd position) play because: in a measure to 4/4, white + black + white do not fit: that's understandable!
My question is that I do not know the notation on a staff to write like 2 votes: 1st: a sigh + a black + a white the 2nd: a white and that's all note: the 2nd voice could have been a round: same problem
Well, from what I can understand, there is a chance that you understand French as well (as you call a half note "white" and a quarter note "black", which are the French denominations)... French can be used on this forum without any fear In addition to what has been suggested by Tony, I can advise you to use the specific tutorials (Help>Tutorials>Editing Staves "Merged staves" + "Some tips for multi-voice staves") (Menu Aide>Didacticiels>Edition : les Portées "Présentation des portées fusionnées" + "Astuces pour l'édition des portées multi-voix"). I attach a very simple file with an example of merged staves (multi-voice staff) with some note that may match what you are looking for.
