Yo estoy haciendo pruebas en mi ordenador y no tengo problemas.. ¿Podría adjuntar el archivo? (o parte de él, si hay problemas de derechos de autor) Así podremos analizar mejor...
I've created new staff, pasted notes from other staff using Copy-Paste. And when I'm trying to edit durations of notes inside any bar, this happens. Function "limit editing to one bar" suddenly stopped working on this staff. Even if it's on.
this strange thing happening only to new staff. on old staves everything is okay.

Alex, PLEASE, explain in text, not unreadable video...
This kind of exercise is not only necessary if you want others to look at your problem, but also extremely useful to help the problem submitter to make the problem clear.
and join a .myr or .mus file - if the problem is real but the actual file too big, extracting the concerned staves on a few pages also helps to make problem clear.
And please, don't CLAIM that the product is FULL OF BUGS when you encounter ONE, even it than one annoys you a lot.

Do you really want to read thousands of words when it's better to show the bug at simple few seconds video?

I'm using Melody Assistant since 2005 when it was version 5.3...... something. Very old and simple it was back then.....
I've kinda stuck to version 7.3.1 from 2012 to 2017, it was quite good.
This new version 7.8.1 is happening to be the most unstable I've ever seen.
It's much slower, it needs a second or two before tune is playing. I've encountered many crashes in past few weeks. Anti-aliasing feature is not fully disabling, as it should..... And now "change duration" is broken....

This bug was done in absolutely new file, completely from scratch.
Sure, I can send the 1 kb file I've just created, it took me 2 seconds, but that does not change the bug inside the software. I can create you hundreds of new files with this exact bug repeating all over and over again.
Because the problem happens to be in executable build, not in some particular *mus file.
I'm encountering this behavior either in old or new files.

I don't know much about Harmony, I haven't used it much.....
Divide and multiply functions are working perfectly fine. Sort of. I cannot change the duration by selecting the graphic icon The feature is broken called Set All Durations to:
It's only allowing me to set every note selected to 8th duration, no matter which icon is selected. Neither 4th, nor 16th, 8th only.
does this help?

Yes, an earlier thread pointed out that the graphic setting of the note length doesn't work at the moment; I believe it has been reported to the Guillon brothers, so we can expect a bug fix in due course.
Please note, however, that the graphical note setting is intended to be determined by the duration of the last note inserted into the score, and last time I checked we could still change that duration by selecting a note value before hitting Ctrl-D or using the menu. The duration in the box should now match the value of the note just picked, and that value should remain unchanged every time you re-open the Change Duration box until you pick a different note value. Assuming that all is still working as intended, of course.

A new version fixing some issues has been announced recently (HA 9.8.7d or MA 7.8.7d). Here is the description on Myriad's page :
Note duration selection in Edit > Action > Change duration Arpeggio selection and dragging Fixed crash when a sung (actually, spoken) lyrics staff was played using a forced measure list Fixed crash in jukebox when playing or activating metronome Metronome before playback could be at the wrong speed when playback didn't start at the beginning of the score, and there were time signature changes Fixed arrow keys management in jukebox Fixed unwanted display of contextual help in font selector
