$Y Enquiry

Hi there,
 
I have composed two pieces this year - 2018.
 
In my footers for each I have the script $Y to place the year at the bottom of the page in the centre.
 
In one piece it displays correctly as 2018, but in the other it displays as 2016.
 
Clearly they are getting their information from entirely different places.
 
Can you please tell me how to get both reference the same source and display 2018?

An intriguing case but of intellectual interest only -  just over-type the incorrect year.
 
Does the same incorrect year re-appear if you delete and re-insert $Y?
 
Did they originate from different sources, e.g. was the "2016" version based on an earlier document or template?
 
The most likely explanation is that you have been in a coma for 2 years

How about about a copy/paste of one of the $Y into the other document, just to make out what happens ?
