Problems with Harmony 9.9.0 on Mac

I have the new Harmony as of today. As it stands, it's unusable. My mouse behaves erratically - freezing in position for long periods (upwards of 20 seconds), refusing to select menu options, and so on and so forth. Has anyone found similar issues, and, hopefully, a solution? I really need this to work. The old version was fine, and I'll be very sad to have had to pay for an upgrade which is not usable. Cheers.

I don't have a Mac, but report this problem to Myriad. It will likely be fixed.

Tired mouse?

Does your mouse have a tail? The symptoms you describe are exactly what happens with the wireless mouse of my PC when the battery is low. I used to blame my ageing, slow Windows XP. When the battery in a wireless mouse runs low, it can recover a little after some time being switched-off, or if its position is such the radio signal can marginally be strong enough. This can give the impression that it works with one program and not another.

My mouse is not tired, drunk, having an off-day, or otherwise indisposed. I've emailed support about the problem.

Yes, my MacBook pro has a lot of lag when scrolling pages in HA9.9 - it seems pretty sluggish. I’m not using a mouse but the trackpad is fine. Fortunately I saved a backup of 9.8!

On OS High Sierra and the new HA 32 bits, HA will open and run correctly, but will not close.

I found that printing with 9.9.0 (both 32- and 64-bit) was extremely slow (about 15 minutes a page), and it turns out I had accidentally checked "Print through a high precision image" in the Global Configuration window.. And here I was blaming the new version! If you ever experience slow printing, this is the first thing to (un)check.
