My Acapella quartet No Direction, recently performed in a local church. We sang without any amplification using the pure acoustics of the building. The performance was recorded on a fairly simple hand held Sony device for transmission on a local radio station. We used the resultant recording to produce a CD and it has been very popular with our fans and audiences. I do notice however that the sound is a bit 'thin' and would like to give it more 'body'. Can somebody please recommend or suggest a software package that would enhance the sound as I have requested? tia
You could try "Audacity" (free and efficient software multi-system, too) It gives you access to reverb, echo, bass and treble, equalization and a dozen built-in plugins to enhance the sound. It requires a little bit of trial and error first, but I think it's worth trying.

Thanks Bubu. I have got Audacity and looked at it as a possibility but wasn't sure what to do to achieve the desired effect. Looks like I need to read up on it.
