I have Gold SoundBase but not HQ. I do not want to connect to any external sounds bases via midi. And I am not interested in better guitar sounds.

Would getting the HQ module benefit me anything other that not having the nag question every time I save a tune?

If you don't care about high definition of sound output + 7.1 digital, PCM export, digital post-processing + multi-band equalizer either, there's virtually no benefit. As for the "nag question before saving", does turning off the line concerning the HQ module (in the configuration menu) help ?

Thanks for your answer. I "think" that I am not interested in any of those things although ... "high definition of sound output", would this make the Gold SoundBase sound any better?
As for the nag screen, thanks for the configuration tip - I'll try it and see if it gets rid of it.

I use HA purely for vocal arrangements, no instruments at all.
I'm presuming that HQ would not benefit me in any way?

Well-presumed ! The HQ feature is for instruments.
