Hello,

What is the soundfont of PDFtoMusic? I want to use it as a Virtual MIDI Synth
I found a file that looks like a soundfont in the PDFtoMusic installation directory, but i dont know how to open it because it's a RSR file NOT SF2 file
C:\Program Files\Melody Assistant\GMDigit\GMSEBase.rsr

As far as I know, the GMSE base is Myriad's own sound base and its format is tailored to suit Myriad's software. They have also issued a very good sound base of better quality (Gold Base) with the same format.

I found this site
https://www.myriad-online.com/en/community/gold2.htm
it shows the Piano soundfont available at http://www.learjeff.com/sf/sf.html
but this site is closed and i used the Wayback Machine to access, it worked nice!
It also shows the link to the file, but Wayback Machine was NOT archived that URL

Hi!
Myriad's soundbases (GMSEBase and Gold2) are not soundfont nor pluggable in VST.
These are Myriad's own format, for Myriad software.

Using Harmony Assistant, you could extract the recorded notes for an instrument, in WAV format, and then import them in a keyboard or sampler. I tried this for my keyboard, but it needed a lot of work to recreate the loop and release enveloppe in my keyboard's software.
